Friendswood Rotary held a modified Reverse Draw this year to comply with stay safe recommendations.
2020 has been a year when many changes have been made at Rotary.  The club decided that it should go ahead and hold its major fundraiser this year, but with a twist.  The event became virtual this year to help keep members safe from COVID-19.  In the past the event was held in a large event venue with more than 200 people present for the draw and dinner.  This year to maintain social distancing, smaller watch parties were held at members' homes and local restaurants, with attendance generally less than 10 people.  Another change was that rather than ask local businesses for prize donations, the club bought approximately 60 gift cards valued at 100 dollars from local businesses to give as prizes.  This was done to support local business during difficult economic times.  Thanks to everyone who participated, either by joining the ZOOM virtual draw or assisting in pulling it all off.
