Many Friendswood Rotarians helped the 50th Anniversary Apollo 11 - Friendswood Splashdown Celebration fundraising efforts by purchasing banners that hung in the city autographed by retired astronauts including Mike Foreman, Jerry Ross, Bill McArthur, and Ken Cockrell.

Proceeds from the fundraising efforts for the 50th Anniversary Apollo 11 - Friendswood Splashdown Celebration were donated today to the STEM programs at Clearbrook High School and Friendswood High School. Thank you to Bridget Christmas from CBHS and Thad Roherfrom Friendswood ISD. STEM education focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
