Matthew Riley was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow today by Friendswood Rotary Club for his diligent work as the Director of the Friendswood Public Library and as a community leader. “His ‘Service Above Self’ has made a significant difference in our community,” stated Robin Hall, Rotary Club of Friendswood President.

His certificate states that Matt was named a Paul Harris Fellow, “in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations between peoples of the world.”

Rotarians often designate a Paul Harris Fellow as a tribute to a person whose life demonstrates a shared purpose with the objectives of Rotary.

Club President, Robin Hall, presented a $500 donation to the Friendswood Public Library's Director, Matt Riley, which will help support their children's reading program.
