Officer Granillo shows exemplary service to our community and the Friendswood Police Department. Our Rotary Club is recognizing him for demonstrating one of our core values, "Service Above Self" with a club award in addition to his Paul Harris Award.
The Paul Harris Fellow award recognizes individuals who have given at least $1,000 dollars to the Foundation, or who have earned the recognition through the contributions of others. It is one of the most prestigious awards in Rotary. It is named after the founder of Rotary, Paul Harris, a Chicago lawyer who started Rotary International with three business associates in 1905.
