The Friendswood Rotary Club held a joint meeting with Hope Village Rotaract Club at the Hope Village Event Center to celebrate their club's inauguration. Seventeen villagers were installed as charter members of the club. Speakers included Friendswood Rotary President Robin Hall, Rotary District 5910 Governor Betsy Robinson, and Friendswood Club member David Smith. A great time was had by all in attendance.
It is the mission of Hope Village to provide superior yet affordable residential and support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Full-time residential services are available to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and who meet the admission criteria. Semi-private and private rooms are available and include assistance with the activities of daily living, medication administration, nutritious meals and 24-hour per day supervision and care in one of five homes on the Hope Village campus.
